NCDC Project Director Receives Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Navy
On June 22, 2017, Cliff Jacobs, Project Director, NCDC attended the retirement ceremony for his father Captain Brian Jacobs at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. Captain Jacobs retired from 38 years of active duty service from the U.S. Navy.
During the ceremony Cliff was presented with a certificate of appreciation from Rear Admiral Matthew Klunder, (USN) on behalf of the Department of the Navy. The certificate recognized Jacobs for his support of his father’s military career, and for the work he is doing with NCDC to improve public safety in communities across the nation. While accepting the certificate Jacobs thanked the service members in attendance active duty and retired. He also thanked the NCDC team , and mentioned the Navy ethos of Honor, Courage, and Commitment holds true to the work NCDC does as we travel the country providing education that saves lives and ultimately makes our communities a safer place.
