Impaired driving is one of America's deadliest crimes.

Hardcore impaired drivers need treatment and accountability.
DWI Courts focus on the hardcore impaired drinking driver; those individuals who are repeat DWI offenders or have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .15 or greater. It is these individuals who have an inability to live a productive life without alcohol, and more importantly, they are a significant threat to others on the road.
Repeat DWI offenders are involved in disproportionately more crashes when compared to all drivers on the road. These individuals are consumed by the need to drink, and unfortunately, then they drive, with tragic results.
Traditional sentencing efforts have not worked to change their behavior. DWI Courts were created to change a person's behavior by providing accountability with intensive supervision and long term treatment.
